Yes. For internal services not accessible from the public internet, you can use our heartbeat monitoring approach where your service sends periodic pings to Mihari. If a heartbeat is missed, we alert your team. This works perfectly for cron jobs, background workers, and internal microservices.

Each monitor can be configured to check from multiple geographic regions simultaneously. If a check fails from one region but passes from others, Mihari identifies it as a regional issue rather than a full outage. This eliminates false positives from transient network issues and helps you detect CDN or DNS problems that affect specific geographies.

The free tier includes up to 5 monitors with 5-minute check intervals, email notifications, a single status page, and 30 days of historical data. Paid plans unlock 30-second intervals, additional notification channels (SMS, phone, Slack), more monitors, custom domains for status pages, and advanced features like SSL monitoring and API access.
